Affiliation Rules

To apply for affilation at AS, you must first have our affilation button displayed. Before posting the form, however, there are a few rules you must read, as your request will not be accepted unless you qualify by them.
001. You must always have our button up. If you take it down, we'll do the same. Same if you move without notice. If you move with notice and we just miss the notice, simply come explain our mistake to us. Your button can also be removed if your site has died or if it gets locked in an eternal maintenance mode.
002. When we go to check out your forum, your button will be placed on ours according to the position of our own. That was a sentence, wasn't it? If we see our banner in marquee, we'll put yours in marquee. Static, you get static. That simple. Scrollboxes do not count as static unless Animus Socius is in the upper portion that you do not have to scroll to view.
003. Please only apply if your site is semi-literate or greater. We're not going to start snooping around in your boards and reading everyone's posts-- but it should be fairly evident from the state of your forum (i.e correct grammar, minimal spelling mistakes). It can be of any genre, just make sure you qualify on all other accounts.
004. Your website and affiliation banner should look nice. That means no ugly default skins and no pixely minibanners. It looks bad on our part affiliating with tacky sites, sorry. Sites with default skins using the predefined proboards colors will be rejected-- sorry. Don't forget, your minibanner represents your site just as much as your skin does.
005. After requesting, there may be a short delay before someone with access to the headers sees it or is alerted. Please be patient. It usually won't take longer than a week. If it has been seven days since your post and your button is still not up, feel free to politely inquire in our Chat Box. If your request has been denied it will then be explained to you. Otherwise, we'll try to correct our mistake as soon as possible.
